National Archival Development Program (NADP)
The National Archival Development Program (NADP) is a financial assistance program of Library and
Archives Canada (LAC). The NADP provides contribution funding to Canadian archival organizations to increase their
capacity to preserve and make accessible archival materials about Canada and Canadians.
Young Canada Works
As a delivery organization for the archival community, the Canadian Council of Archives administers the Young Canada Works (YCW) program from the Department of Canadian Heritage. This program offers students and young graduates the chance to acquire experience in their chosen field. This program is offered to any archival institution whether or not they are a member of their provincial/territorial council.
Archival Community Digitization Program
The Archival Community Digitization Program (ACDP) is administered by the Canadian Council of Archives
in cooperation with Library and Archives Canada (LAC). The ACDP provides contribution funding to Canadian archival
organizations for digitization projects of archival records. Projects must propose the development of unique,
digitized online cultural content, available free of charge via the Internet.
