Christina M. Nichols

Christina M. Nichols joined the Canadian Council of Archives as Executive Director, in August 2003. She is a seasoned professional in association management, with extensive experience in business development, start-ups, strategic planning, communications and marketing.

Christina holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation and a graduate Diploma of Association Management from the Canadian Society of Association Executives. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) and has completed an MBA, specializing in financial services and small/medium enterprise studies, from l'Université du Québec à Montréal.

Previously, Christina's career has included the implementation of national standards, establishment of membership structures and benefit programmes, development of educational and certification programmes, fundraising, design of e-learning programmes, and experience as a finance officer for several national higher education associations.

A dedicated volunteer, Christina also shares her expertise with many committees and boards at both the national and community levels.
